What is in the box, and who owns it
GUMDROP is built entirely from native Framer features and openly licensed assets. Here is the full manifest.
Typefaces
Bricolage Grotesque by Mathieu Triay — SIL Open Font License 1.1, served through Framer’s Google Fonts integration. Variable axes used: weight 200–800, optical size 12–96, width 75–100.
Space Grotesk by Florian Karsten — SIL Open Font License 1.1. Variable weight axis 300–700.
DM Mono by Colophon Foundry for Deep Mind — SIL Open Font License 1.1. Used at weights 400 and 500.
All three are free for commercial use and may be redistributed inside a Framer template.
Icons
Lucide — ISC License. Used for interface and decorative icons throughout.
Framer Logos vector set — used only for the social links in the footer and on the contact page. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners and are used for identification only.
Shaders and 3D
All WebGL surfaces are Framer’s built-in shader nodes (liquid-gradient, holo, mesh). No third-party 3D models, no GLB or GLTF assets, no external WebGL libraries. The Gumdrop sculpture is composed from Framer frames, CSS 3D transforms and a shader fill — it is original to this template and ships with it.
Photography
All photographs are from Unsplash under the Unsplash License and are included as placeholder content only. You are free to keep them, but they are generic and we strongly recommend replacing them with your own work before publishing.
Original to GUMDROP
The wordmark, sticker system, Gumdrop object family, colour system, type scale, motion tokens, layout compositions, component library and all written copy are original and are licensed to you as part of this template.
Sample content
The six projects, four journal articles, four testimonials, studio story and team names are fictional. They exist to demonstrate the CMS and must be replaced. Do not present them as real client work, real people or real results.
What you may do
Use GUMDROP for one website per licence, modify it freely, and publish commercially. You may not resell or redistribute the template itself, as a template, in whole or in substantial part.
